The ability to accelerate from 0-100 km / h can be achieved in a claimed 6.2 seconds, according to BMW is equivalent to a 600cc petrol scooter skills.

Evolution is the driving force C batteries 8 kWh lithium-ion battery, and can be fully charged from empty condition within four hours, with a 220 V power socket and current home 12 Ampere (or can be filled within three hours of electricity use 220v/16A).

This battery can take the motor a distance of 100 miles before recharging stun again.

C Evolution offers a choice of four driving. Road Mode means that the motor can accelerate full, recycle energy when braking. Eco Pro mode acceleration limit but add mileage 10% -20%. Sail Mode minimizes energy regeneration when the motorcycle slid without drawing gas. Dinamyc combines full acceleration mode with energy recycling.

Battery box is a major component in the chassis. The large size of the batteries also add weight to the bike significantly, heavier than gasoline motors and C650GT BMW C600 Sport.

Steel pipe under the handlebars directly connected to the battery box on the front and the ith swing (swing-arm) behind the single.

VESPA 946

Back from the future

Unique as the year in which it was born, 2013. The essentiality of the design endows even the most impersonal function with style and individuality. The Vespa 946 is a pure expression of a style synonymous, in the minds of millions of travellers and devotees, with freedom of movement and expression. A far-sighted projection of sustainable mobility, whose form and substance crystallise the fundamental aesthetic and dynamic values of the history of the two-wheeler.

Made for distinction

The Vespa 946 is made to man’s measure. And to the measure of the universe. Low consumption and reduced emissions. Fully digital instrumentation.A throbbing technological heart, perfect for long distances and city travel.Superior construction quality to make it a winner on every road, the means to reach every destination.

ECO-SUSTAINABLE BY VOCATION

The way to guard against imitations is to look beyond the immediate future. The Vespa 946 has ABS braking and ASR traction control. The 4-stroke 125 cc monocylinder engine is a response to requirements that may still be nascent. And it guarantees the best performance in its category. Electronic injection, three-valve distribution, reduced friction and improved fluid dynamics sharply reduce consumptionand emissions, establishing a new benchmark over and beyond current regulations.

CONCEIVED THROUGH PASSION

Real luxury is realising a more ambitious and fascinating dream every day. Today the Vespa 946 re-affirms its legend. It enhances the classical values of tradition: the shape of the handlebar, the proportions of the fairing, the plunging curves of the saddle all come from the earliest drawings. Every detail reflects a choice and a reference to Italian-style production. A craftsman’s approach in a futuristic dimension.

Electric scooter with iPhone connection unveiled

Terra Motors Corp. unveiled Wednesday an electric scooter that can be linked to an iPhone to display driving information, with an eye to emerging markets.
Mass production, the first of its kind for bikes with a smartphone connection, will begin in December in Vietnam for global sales starting the same month, the Tokyo-based start-up said.
“What people in the middle class in emerging nations want to buy is motorbikes and smartphones,” Toru Tokushige, president and founder of Terra Motors, told reporters.
The demand for electric scooters is especially strong in other parts of Asia due to serious air pollution and rising gasoline prices.

The screen of an iPhone mounted in the dash of the white scooter with a blue stripe can display such information as power consumption, charge remaining, average speed and mileage. Other free downloadable applications — at the beta stage — assist in navigation or recommend roadside stops.
Terra Motors aims to sell 2,000 units of the A4000i, which is priced at about ¥450,000. A model without the iPhone connection function, the A4000, will be sold for less from next year.
The scooter has an average range of about 65 km and its removable lithium-ion battery can last up to 50,000 km. The battery can be fully charged in about 4.5 hours.
Terra Motors aims to sell 100,000 electric scooters worldwide, including an older model, by the end of 2015, Tokushige said.
Founded by Tokushige in 2010, Terra Motors develops, manufactures and markets electric scooters.
