Scooter On the Muppet Show

Are you including the generation that enjoys Muppet Show, which presents some figures such as Kermit, Robin, Miss Pig, etc..

In the first three Muppet movies, Scooter is seen working with popcorn. In The Muppet Movie, before the Muppets view the first screening, Scooter sells "organic popcorn." In The Great Muppet Caper, Scooter sells popcorn as the Muppets, Nicky Holiday, Marla, Carla, and Darla fight over the fabulous Baseball Diamond. In The Muppets Take Manhattan, Scooter works as an usher at a movie theater, where the Swedish Chef tosses popcorn into the air and calls it a 3-D effect. Though he never sells popcorn in the latter appearance, the Usher Scooter Action Figure, based on his Manhattan appearance, features an old-fashioned popcorn cart.

After watching the development of the specialty coffee industry in California, and seeing the introduction of the drive-thru coffee concept, they became convinced that there was high potential for a very successful business model. They had a vision of coupling the drive-thru coffee business with a commitment to a few key business principals. Having grown up in the Omaha area, they moved back to the Midwest and opened their first drive-thru coffeehouse in 1998 in Bellevue, Nebraska. Scooter's Coffee was born.

Where did a scooter's get's its name ?

One of the daughters of co-founders Don and Linda Eckles had the nickname of “Scooter” from her days of playing softball where she had a reputation for being speedy. When Don and Linda were considering names for the company, “Scooter’s” became the hands-down favorite, given the mission to help customers “scoot in and scoot out” with their purchase.
